I am from interstate and can't to NSW, can I get a refund?

We understand the rules change regularly and recommend that you check any restrictions by clicking on this link Interstate travel to and from NSW | NSW Government. We are happy to exchange the date of your booked tickets but, we do not offer refunds, as per our refund policy. 

Why are you not answering the phone ?

We try to answer the phone during office hours when we can. Our staff prioritise the customers at the park, lifeguarding and ensuring  people are safe and having loads of fun. After hours we only have a recorded message and will get back to any texts or emails the following day. We hope our recorded message provides you with the information you need. If however it is not covered please text or email us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  

Can I make phone bookings? 

No, we only take bookings online - BOOK HERE

 

What time are your sessions? 

Dependent on weather we run two sessions a day each for 3 hours.

Our morning session runs from 10am - 1pm.

Our afternoon session runs from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

At times, we will cancel a session if we have no participants or the weather is bad. Booking online will ensure we stay open for you or are able to contact you if we need to.

Do I need to book? 

Bookings are not essential, but we recommend booking as it ensures you a spot on your preferred session and check in is much
quicker, especially if you have already completed a waiver

It also allows us to contact you if we need to for inclement weather or changes in the Park's availability to operate with Covid restrictions. 

If you choose not to book and just rock up please be mindful the park may be closed early if we have no one pre-booked or if no one has show up within 30 minutes of the start of the session. 

 

Do you have different pricing for children? 

No,  everyone who goes on the park pays $25.00  

 

​Do you accept Carer Cards? 

Yes we do. We offer half price for carer’s but they must be on the park at all times with the person they are caring for and be able to show the appropriate documentation of carer's status.

 

How long is a session? 

Each session is 3 hours long. You can come at any point in that three hours but entry will remain at $25. 

A session may be cut short or cancelled if no one has booked the session and no one shows up in the first 30 minutes. Inclement weather may also cause early closure. 

Your session includes check in, completing a waiver if not already completed, lifejacket fitting and a safety briefing. We ask everyone to start coming off the park 10 minutes prior to the end of the session. 

 

To speed your check in process, please print and complete a waiver before attending your session.

What is the minimum age? 

·         Our Minimum age is 3 years old 

·         Children between the ages of 3 years old and 7 years old MUST be accompanied by a paying adult. One paying adult can look after 3 children under 7.  

         Children between 8 years old and 12 years old must have an adult watching them from the side of the park at all times. 

 

What if I go on the park but I don’t like it. Can I get my money back? 

We do not offer refunds. Our kiosk staff have a copy of our refund policy. Please ask them for a copy or email us and we can send you one. 

 

​What is the role of the parent/responsible adult? 

While our lifeguards are here to make sure everyone is safe and we are here to ensure if things go wrong, we can rectify them. Lifeguards are not here to babysit and it is important to understand the ‘Watch Around The Water policy’ which is children between 3 years old and 7 years old must be within an arms reach on the park and children between 8 years old and 12 years old must be actively supervised at all times by an adult (over 18 years old)

How deep is the water? 

At its deepest point, it is 3 metres.

I can’t swim, can I still go on the park? 

The park is located in the middle of a lake, you need to be able to swim out to the park to be able to get into it. A basic ability to swim is needed.

I didn't attend my session or I am running late. Can I get a refund?

We do not offer refunds. Our kiosk staff have a copy of our refund policy. Please ask them for a copy or email us and we can send you one.

I have recently had an injury, can I go on the park? 

We advise anyone who have a knee, shoulder, back or neck injury or anyone with a heart condition to not go on the park.  

 

I am pregnant, can I go on the park? 

We advise those who are pregnant to not go on the park.

Do you have Life Jackets ?

We have a range of life jackets available for use, we do not charge for life jacket hire.

Can I bring my own Life Jacket?

You certainly can, they will need to be check by our attendants to ensure they fit correctly before you enter the park.

Is there food and drinks available for purchase? 

Take away food and drinks are available for purchase from our kiosk. We are unable to provide for any special diets. 

We are famous for our crunchy hot chips and delicious Slurpees.

Can spectators swim for free? 

We are unable to provide swimming facilities to spectators as our staff are busy Lifeguarding the paying participants on the park and additional people in the water increases their responsibilities. All people who enter the water at Aqua Island must wear a lifejacket and we can only provide jackets to paying participants. If you have children on the park between 7 and 12 years of age and you are the responsible adult supervising them then it would not be appropriate for you to be swimming as well.

Is there shade? 

You bet there is! We have shade sails and shady trees.  We suggest you bring a picnic rug or your own chairs so you can sit where you like. We provide shared picnic tables and bean bags. We do not reserve picnic tables unless you are a booking over 10 people.

Where are you located? 

We are located at Waterfront Moama, 1725 Perricoota Road which is approximately 15 minutes from the Cobb Highway turn off. 

We have a large billboard on Perricoota Road showing you where to turn. We are 500 metres east of Deep Creek Marina.  

Please note, if you are using google maps, we are not located at Perricoota Forrest Road.

Do you have birthday parties? 

We host birthday parties, school functions sporting club days and much more!

Can I bring my dog to the park? 

You can bring a dog but it must be on a leash at all times. Dogs can not drink from or swim in dam due to health regulations. You are responsible to pick up after your dog and ensure it has access to drinking water.

When is the best time to come to the park? 

​There isn’t a bad time to come to the park! Get ready to slip, slide, laugh and have a lot of fun!
